Event Cancellation Policy
Cancellation requests for Learning Forward Texas professional learning events must be received in writing via email to the LFTX business office ten (10) business days before the start date of the event or the cancellation deadline posted on the event’s website.
Requests for refunds will not be honored after this date. LFTX does not accept mailed, faxed, or phone call cancellations. Individual cancellation fees are $50 for workshops and our annual conference.
If you must cancel, LFTX encourages you to send a substitution in your place at no cost. Substitutions can be registered by modifying your existing registration or by emailing the LFTX business office before the cancellation deadline.
Once the event cancellation deadline has passed, no refunds will be given for any reason. Refunds are not granted for illness, death, perceived quality of an event, acts of God, pandemics, severe weather, acts of terrorism, loss of employment, travel-related problems, technology-related problems, or accidental registrations. Refunds are not granted for not attending, late arrival, partial attendance, or early departure. No-shows will be billed for the full registration fee and will not be given a refund.
Refunds will be issued only for paid invoices. Refunds will be issued by check to the individual’s affiliated organization no sooner than thirty (30) days after the final day of the event.
Learning Forward Texas reserves the right to cancel any registration at any time, for any reason. If your registration is canceled, you will be issued a refund up to the full price that you have paid, and the cancellation fees will be waived.
Please note that LFTX does not reimburse registrants for travel or other expenses.
