The newly appointed board members are distinguished professionals from various educational districts across Texas, each bringing a wealth of experience and a shared commitment to excellence in education.

Learning Forward Texas Announces New Board Member: Annice Garza

Learning Forward Texas is pleased to welcome Annice Garza, Director of Professional Learning at Los Fresnos Consolidated ISD, to its Board of Directors.
With a distinguished career in education, Garza has served as a principal, curriculum coordinator, and dean of instruction, bringing a wealth of experience in instructional leadership and professional learning. In her current role, she designs and implements professional development programs that enhance teacher effectiveness and student achievement.
On being selected for the board, Garza shared: “I am honored to join the LFTX Board of Directors and be part of a community dedicated to supporting and empowering educators. Professional learning has the power to transform teaching and lives, and I look forward to collaborating with passionate leaders to create meaningful opportunities for growth that benefit both teachers and students.”

Learning Forward Texas Welcomes New Board Member: Hanna Schramm

Learning Forward Texas is thrilled to welcome Hanna Schramm, Director of Professional Learning at Comal ISD, to its Board of Directors.
Schramm brings extensive experience in instructional leadership, having previously served as Program Manager of Instructional Coaching Services at Region 13, an instructional coach, and a teacher. Known for her team-oriented mindset, creativity, and attention to detail, she is deeply committed to empowering educators through high-quality professional learning. In her current role, she designs and leads impactful professional development initiatives that support both teachers and students.
Her passion for education is evident in her belief that professional learning drives student success. As she shared: “Supporting teachers means supporting students, and I can't wait to help create meaningful growth opportunities that make a real impact in classrooms across Texas.”
On joining the board, Schramm expressed her enthusiasm: “I am beyond excited to join the Learning Forward Texas Board and work alongside incredible educators who are passionate about professional learning! It’s an honor to represent and champion the amazing educators in our state!”
