Learning Forward Texas is proud to welcome our newest board members, Annice Garza from Los Fresnos ISD and Hanna Schram from Comal ISD. Both will begin their three-year terms during our Annual Conference in Hurst, bringing fresh perspectives and a shared passion for advancing professional learning across the state. Their experience and dedication to educator growth will be valuable assets to the organization as we continue to support effective teaching and learning practices. They attended their board orientation in April during the Spring LFTX Board Meeting.

Additionally, we are excited to announce our new board officers, who will begin their roles on July 1. Dr. Glenda Horner of Cy-Fair ISD will serve as President, with Dr. Chris Summers from Montgomery ISD as President-Elect. Valerie Minor of AVID will step into the role of Past President, and Dr. Kelly Hastings of Enlightening Leadership will serve as Treasurer. We look forward to a dynamic year under their leadership as we continue to empower educators and elevate professional learning throughout the state.
